I've decided my favorite holiday is the day after Thanksgiving! Because it's decorating day!  I'm so excited for LAS and I to decorate for our first married Christmas and we are heading over to my parents house today for tree decorating and I could not be more excited!! Let's deck the halls and let the trimming begin.

Tomorrow, I'm scooting out of town for a few days at the beach! After our whirlwind Atlanta trip, I'm more than ready for a few days of R & R.  If there was one purchase I could make for this weekend, it would be the Sombrilla from Hollie and Harrie.

Today Stella is the featured furbaby on Elizabeth Anne Designs Furbaby Friday! She is so thrilled to be making her debut on the greater interwebs and with her new found fame has become even more high maintenence in just the past few hours if that's possible (just kidding).

I LOVE books (i.e. no matter how cool LAS's Nook is, I won't get one/ give up REAL books) and admittedly I've bought my fair share based solely on the fact that they prettied up my bookshelf.  Any and all of these would certainly fall into the pretty category, and many of them are worth reading too ; )

ABQ and I are headed to Atlanta this weekend for a business trip.  We'll be working on a couple of upcoming projects and having a few meetings while we're there.  We can't wait to share some of these projects with you.  But for now we are off to, get some work done, see a little snow and have a little fun!  Follow us and get a sneak peek of our trip on twitter!  Follow Ashley Brooke, @abdesigns and me @abdesigns_betsy

Don't you love seeing people's outdoor decorations during Christmastime? It's always neat to see how people spruce up their homes and if their style translates from the inside out!


And my mother reminded me that I have been re-miss is blogging about the 'Noles  AMAZEBALLS victory over the Gators last Saturday! My heart was so full and eyes may have even gotten a bit misty, as it had been awhile since our Gator victory (I was at the last game in 2003 by the way and I was the lone 'nole in a sea of gators). This weekend its on to Charlotte and matching up with Va Tech in the ACC Championship.  I'll be watching--Go Noles!!

I think LAS and I might make a trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend and there's nothing quite so lovely as a full field of pumpkins.  Cheers to pumpkin patches and carving a perfectly preppy pumpkin (think I can convince LAS to make monogrammed pumpkins?!).

Happy Friday!  LAS has an interview tomorrow morning, so we'd love your prayers, good wishes and fairy dust!  Sunday we are capping off the weekend at a family friend's wedding on 10.10.10 no less!

Walk into your local Target and I have a feeling you'll be greeted with gorgeous stacks of school supplies.  We are heading into the time of year that really gets to me: fall/back to school.  I love it.  I would love it more if I had a reason to buy the beautiful school supplies and it wasn't 98 degrees, but I digress...

• Ceremony Venue--Church
• Reception Venue--A local Farmer's Market building with cool lighting and exposed brick, very charming :)
• Wedding Dress--mums the word, but there are some oh-so-me details I just adore!
• Bridesmaids Dresses--a one shouldered Alfred Sung number in Navy
• Florist--we met yesterday and she totally got my vision--loved her!

We are very close to selecting a photographer and caterer as well and I'm thrilled to have nearly all the vendors in place.   I'm really excited about some of the sweet southern charm details we are discussing for the wedding and I CAN'T WAIT to start working on all the lovely paper with Miss Ashley Brooke!   

Wedding question of the week for you readers: What song did you walk down the aisle to??  I want something slightly un-traditional but still appropriate for a church ceremony.
