Baby Shower #3 (last one I swear!)

I had my last baby shower just about a month ago and not a moment too soon given that it was a bit of a drive.  This shower was in Thomasville, GA near Tallahassee and was thrown by my aunts, my cousin, and my sister (aka, SB's namesake) and it was SO fun! There were so many adorable touches adorning my aunt's fabulous home and a weekend relaxing with the fam was just what the doctor ordered.

How cute is the onesie, hat, diaper cover garland?!

SO thankful my mom's sister and my cousin DKK from AL could make it. See also, I was OBSESSED with my beaufort bonnet company sash!

I hate shower games but this was a really cute game/activity. There were tiny babies frozen in ice cubes in water and you had to keep an eye on your "baby" and the first person who's ice cube melted had to shout "my water broke!" The winner: my cousin's 78 year old grandmother. Priceless.

Baby Shower #2

I had two other AMAZING baby showers that I've been dying to share with you and now that I'm on maternity leave just waiting for Sadie, I finally have time to do it!

The weekend after Baby Shower #1, my MIL threw me an oh so lovely shower at her house with a lot of family and friends from LAS's hometown. LOVE these people and I was so thrilled to celebrate with them. My favorite things from this shower were the ridiculously cute bee cupcakes, my favorite cheeseball, celebrating SBS, and getting our BOB stroller!

I'm always overwhelmed by the love and generosity of our family and friends after these showers and LAS and I are so very thankful for everyone's support!

An embarrassment of riches, but stay tuned for my last shower re-cap!

Baby Shower #1 Re-cap!

To say that Baby Sadie and I are two very lucky girls, is an understatement.  We have been blessed with 2 beautiful showers so far and have been overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and enthusiasm of our family and friends.  LAS and I are so, so thankful for everyone's help in celebrating our girl!

Auntie A threw a shower two weeks ago that was girly and gorgeous and oh, so fun! Knowing SB's nursery will be dressed up with a few flamingos, she used the colors (aqua and pink) and there was a very special Ashley Brooke original signed and ready to hang up in our little lady's room!

I've dreamt about a baby like some girls dream about their wedding and I can't thank AB enough for making this day so very special!

How much do you love that Flamingo canvas and the festive pouf balls?! (PS, I know. AB's home is gorgeous)

Onli Beverages was sweet enough to send over yummy drinks for the shower!

Amazing food + bump photos = everyone's favorite party spot.

Sadie's Favorite Things: Pink!

If there's one guarantee about having a daughter it is lots and lots of pink....and I'm loving every second of it!

For our second installment of SFT, here's some of the PINK gems now residing in Sadie Blair's closet.

My sweet Texas friend Stefanie sent this Flamingo Dress (and matching cardigan) form Janie and Jack and I couldn't love it more if I tried. Flamingos are perfect for my little Florida girl!

How sweet are these larger than life accessories? (Yes, that flower is going on my infant child's head.) My mom works at an adorable boutique and the poor grandma to-be suffered through 20 weeks of waiting and staring at adorable baby gifts before she knew whether to buy bows or bow ties. She came prepared with both to Sadie's gender reveal and when the balloons flew, she presented me with these.  Adorable, right?!

Sadie's great-grandmother (Nana the Great!) knitted this just for her and it about makes me cry every time I look at it. It came with the sweetest note, that I can't wait to hang in her nursery.

Sadie's Favorite Things: Little Presidents

I knew as soon as we found out we were expecting a girl, all bets would be off in the shopping department! I've tried not to go too far off the deep end but sometimes I can't help myself.  We've also had the good fortune of receiving some gorgeous things for Miss Sadie Blair from friends and family along the way.

I thought I'd try to do a weekly post of some of "Sadie's" favorite things or rather, my favorites that we've gotten for her or received from others. Which brings me to Fancy Ashley from Little Presidents.  I started following Ashley on instagram and found we have a mutual adoration for dachshunds, sparkly things and generally being fancy. Ashley has a business called Little Presidents and makes adorable children's clothing and accessories.

So needless to say when this snappy little bundle showed up on my doorstep I squealed with delight!

How cute is the embossed tag with the glittery pregnant lady?!

Each item was cuter than the next and I loved the way everything was stacked and packaged.

I can't wait for Sadie to arrive and use her fancy new LP goodies. Have you checked out Little Presidents? Make sure you pop over and see about picking something up for the Little President in your life!
