Weekend Re-Cap: ABD Does Atlanta

ABQ and I hit the sweet southern city of Atlanta this weekend for work and had a wildly successful weekend!

We worked hard during the day, discovering people, ideas and systems we think will continue making ABD the best it can be.  We worked in plenty of fun including delicious dinners and a little shopping (for the business of course ;)  and we met up with new and old friends and decided Atlanta is beyond charming. Weekend Recap: Wedding Dresses

Good Morning!  Happy Monday--I love the start of new week.


I embarked on my first bit of wedding planning this weekend and started with the most important part: THE dress!  I had three appointments and found THE dress at appointment 2 but went on to try on more dresses just to be sure ;)

I went back yesterday and bought my dress!  I never thought I would find it so soon but it is perfect and there are a couple of details that are just so *me* I can't even stand it!  

Today starts my birthday week and for the first time ever, I'm not on pins and needles for it to arrive.  Between the engagement and a pending trip with Ashley Brooke (you'll hear more about this later!), I'm overwhelmed with all the excitement that has nothing to do with the big day!  But make no mistake, I will celebrate it to the hilt :)

Weekend Recap

Went to Tallahassee this weekend to visit my sister and attend the FSU game.  It was a great weekend!  The Noles won and it was defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews' last home game.  There was a really nice ceremony before the game and Dad went out on the field along with some other of Coach Andrews' former players and it was fun to see him out there.  After the game, we grabbed dinner with the g-parents and my aunt, uncle and cousin who was home from school for Thanksgiving.  Obligatory pic:

My interview from Friday was rescheduled so I'll keep ya posted on that after it happens next week!

Looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with mine and LAS' families and scoring a black friday deal or two...What are your plans friends??

Weekend Recap

Helloooo!

I am in the best mood as it has actually been below 90 in FL this weekend!! It's been in the 60s and 70s during the day and I can't tell you what a relief that is since its been in the 90s for weeks (this is the part where my northeast friends are allowed to hate me.). It was the perfect fall weekend and I got to do some fun things!

Friday was LAS' mom's birthday and she loved my gift!! I got to play Auntie for the night and loved playing with Nate and Raleigh:


Saturday I went for jog in the cool air and tried my hand at some applique (more practice is definitely needed!!) before going to work.

After church Sunday, LAS came over and we went to our local pumpkin patch! We weren't planning on it, but we decided to go and it was SO much fun. We took Miss Stella of course and got some great shots:
