I can't believe tomorrow is 2011. 

In 2011 I will become a wife, I will work hard, be adventurous, celebrate often, learn new things and love people well.  2011, I've decided, will be quite grand.

2010 was pretty grand too, I got engaged to my best friend, found my dream job, traveled, and loved every minute with my family and friends.

I love that this place holds and captures so many of those memories.  Thanks for reading along for another year, I can't wait to see what 2011 brings!

Only 58 days to go!! Can you even believe it? I'm so excited but all those little tasks are starting to add up, time to start checking them off my list!  Today we have our tasting with the caterer and our menu is something we are both most excited about.  Think fried mac and cheese balls, shrimp and grits, pulled pork sliders and bourbon chicken with collards among other things...mmm, can't wait to try it all!

Things have been tres busy around here and here is a glimpse of what we've been up to including celebrating Mr. Q's birthday with ABQ and friends, visiting the Mouse at the most wonderful time of the year, and commemorating LAS's grad school graduation!

I came across these frames on Etsy in the Queen of the Fairies shop.  How darling are they? Listed as children's frames, I want one for my every room in my house!  How do you think LAS will feel about frames with giant glitter ribbons?

Last night ABQ, Mr. Q, myself and LAS went out on the town for the ABD Christmas Party!  We ate amazing food at one of the chicest restaurants in town and had the best time!!  Here's a group photo and a (iPhone quality) shot of my gift from ABD, an Emerson Made poppy that I am OBSESSED with (thanks ABQ!)

Don't you love seeing people's outdoor decorations during Christmastime? It's always neat to see how people spruce up their homes and if their style translates from the inside out!


And my mother reminded me that I have been re-miss is blogging about the 'Noles  AMAZEBALLS victory over the Gators last Saturday! My heart was so full and eyes may have even gotten a bit misty, as it had been awhile since our Gator victory (I was at the last game in 2003 by the way and I was the lone 'nole in a sea of gators). This weekend its on to Charlotte and matching up with Va Tech in the ACC Championship.  I'll be watching--Go Noles!!
