Are you tired of being in charge?

We are moving. Not far but we're leaving the beach and heading back into the city and while I will miss the coast, I'm excited to be closer to family, friends, and places that I know and love.  The truth is we've been really blessed with some help from LAS's new company to make this move as easy as possible but no move is ever stress free. Am I right?

I'm a planner, I like to be in charge, coordinate, make decisions. I like a schedule, an itinerary. But sometimes, every so often, I get tired of being in charge.  I said to my husband the other day, "I just wish somebody would tell me where to go and when to show up" in regards to finalizing some of our moving logistics. Cut to me rocking my daughter to sleep (which I love for many reasons, one of which is it lets me think and reflect on my day) and I laughed at myself remembering what I had said earlier in the day, because you know what?  There is somebody who can tell me where to go and when to be there and what to do...his name is God.

If you're like me and your the planner in the family and sometimes you get tired of being in charge, I have good news for you.  You're not really in charge.  God is and the great thing about that is he usually has some pretty good ideas.
