Wedding Re-cap: Our Menu

Our wedding menu was one of my favorite things to plan for and enjoy on our special day.  It was southern comfort food at its best and I was lucky enough to find a caterer who was willing to think a little outside the box.  We had hors d'Ĺ“uvres during cocktail hour and three stations throughout the venue for dinner.  An Arnold Palmer w/ sweet tea vodka in a mason jar was a our signature drink.

The appetizers included fried macaroni and cheese balls, vidalia onion dip, hamburger sliders and a popcorn bar with toppings!

The stations were bbq pork sliders with cole slaw and sweet potatoes, shrimp and grits with hush puppies, bourbon chicken with collard greens and fried green tomatoes

I don't have our wedding photos back yet but here's an assortment from google images of what some of our fare looked like.

your food sounds amazinggg! i love keeping the southern theme, yet it was all food that could be dressed up for a wedding!
my favorite is definitely the drinks in mason jars, what a great idea!

Thanks Muffy, ABM and Carolina Crown! The food was so delicious! I'm thinking I might have to order a little smorgasbord for our anniversary next year!
