Five on Friday!

It's my first Five on Friday! I'm linking up with Darci from The Good Life blog and some of my other most favorite girls (i.e. Fancy Ashley, Blue Eyed Bride).

1. Swim Diapers! I just bought swim diapers yesterday in preparation for Sadie B's first swim this weekend--SO, SO excited!

2.  I can't wait to get my hands on these new ABD cocktail napkins--they scream summer, don't you think?!

3. My current favorite app is Your Move with Andy Stanley. Andy is a pastor in Atlanta, GA and you can listen to sermons via the Your Move app or watch "episodes."  I download one before I get in the car when I know I have to drive more than just a few minutes and he is a great speaker and is constantly preaching on topics close to my heart. My favorite series so far has been "breathing room."

4. Starting next month I have, in 3 consecutive weekends, a wedding, a baby shower, and a bridal shower. I knew I wanted a new dress for the occasions and I picked up this little number from J. Crew Factory at a steal. I'm planning on pair it with different shoes and accessories to create 3 totally different looks.

5.  Today is the last day to enter my Mother's Day giveaway! Win a copy of the Art of the Monogram coffee table book and a monogrammed tray and tumbler set from The Primrose Shop

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is May 11th and even though I'm a mom now, my first thought is still "what am I going to get my mom?!" I've pulled together a few gifts I think would make any mom feel super special and BONUS! you can enter to win a couple of these gifts for your own mom (or yourself, I won't tell!)

Lands End Tote: A classic, so perfect for so many occasions. I actually gave these to my mom and MIL for Christmas this year with their grandma names (Minnie and YaYa) on them. One of the great things about these bags too is that you can use them as your gift bag and fill them with a collection of other gifts.

J.Crew Factory Tunic: Beach cover-up, tunic top, dress...I love the classic lines and pretty color of this tunic--it screams SPRING, don't you think?

Mariposa Napkin Box: Hands down, one of my favorite gifts to give. So pretty and we all need napkins, so why not have a pretty piece to display them.  Mariposa also makes dozens of napkin weights so you can change them out through the seasons.

Art of the Monogram: It's no secret I love monograms and my good friend Cynthia Brumback's book celebrates all things monogrammed. It's a beautiful book with gorgeous images, stories and traditions pertaining to personalizing and monogramming. A must have for your book shelf or coffee table.

Bauble Bar Maharaja Ice Studs Earring: If your mom is fancy, wants to be fancy, or doesn't yet know how fancy she is, these are for her. Who wouldn't feel special with these baubles on her ears?

Monogram Tray and Mason Jar Set: How cute is this tray and mason jar cup set from The Primrose Shop? Perfect for those spring and summer days by the pool or entertaining on the patio.

Now on to the good stuff!! You can win a copy of the The Art of the Monogram and The Primrose Shop monogrammed tray set. You have several entry options and until Friday to enter. So get to it!

Masters Weekend!

It's here! Second only to Easter in the Spring holidays is Masters weekend. Golf is huge in our family--Dad's always at the course, the tourneys are always on TV, which makes this Sunday a bit like the super bowl around here.

I'm having mom and dad over for an impromptu Masters Sunday lunch (don't hate us CBK) and I'd thought I'd share a bit of what's on my menu.

Pimento Cheese. This is synonymous with the Masters (hello $1.50 pimento cheese sandwich in Augusta) and probably the thing I'm most excited to make this weekend--thanks to Plain Chicken for the copycat recipe! (image)

Arnold Palmers (or John Dalys). Is there any other beverage to sip while watching the pros navigate Amen Corner? (image)

Martha Stewart's Buttermilk Baked Chicken. One of my all time favorite recipes--it never disappoints and can accommodate LAS' gluten allergy. An all around win. (image)

What are you making to watch The Masters this weekend?
