I woke up this morning to the new follower thing on the blogs--not a fan. Are you?? The old one was definitely more streamlined and cleaner looking.

Good Morning Lovelies!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Just a quick post before I head into work this morning. I'm very excited because I'm working on a new project which I let you all in on very soon! Here's how I spent my Friday night:

I've been enjoying breakfast and finishing my coffee but now its time to get moving! I'm attending a Public Relations Society of America luncheon today with my dear friend L, who invited me along for an excellent networking opportunity. I'm thinking black pencil skirt, platform black bootie heels and a light sweater as the ever unpredictable FLA weather is dipping back down today thanks to some showers. I'll post a pic of the outfit later when I'm all put together. Time to print resumes and get pretty.

KAG from Monograms and Martinis in Manhattan was sweet enough to tag me, although its been awhile ago. Apologies KAG for taking so long. • 10) What was your last vacation? My last trip was in July to Atlanta for the gift show, but my last vacation was almost a year ago, last March. My last spring break as a college kid. We went to ABD's cabin in Georgia and had the most fabulous time--this doesn't sound like the premier SB location, but I assure you we could not have had more fun if we tried :) There was lots of fire building, dancing on the giant coffee table and hanging out doing nothing. I hope I can go back in April for the next trip :)


• 11) what brought you to blogland? My bff had started a blog to promote her new company and one night I googled preppy blogs--that was it. I was hooked from then on!

• 12.) What are your fav. TV shows? Gossip Girl, The Bachelor, Priveleged, Jon and Kate plus 8, Criminal Minds, Borthers and Sisters, Desperate, Greys, soaps...yeah, I watch a lot of TV but its all good because there is Tivo.

Did anyone see the previews for the final bachelor episode? What could possibly be so dramatic and traumatic that the after the rose special is held practically in seclusion?? He can't pick Deanna. He just can't. She missed her chance and now he needs to be with Melissa. I will be so angry if he picks Deanna. And I love how she shows up in NEW ZEALAND!

Thanks to all of you who read my blog. I can't imagine life without blog-land now. The thing I was least expecting was to meet all you fabulous bloggers, I truly enjoy reading each of your blogs :)

I hope you all had a fun valentine's weekend. I enjoyed celebrating Ally's birthday on Friday and Saturday I spent the latter part of the afternoon with my Valentine, laying out by the pool, then dinner and going to see Shopaholic (which was so cute and funny!). He got me a Brighton bracelet with a letter B on it (I know my monogram is EHK but my nickname that I've always gone by starts with a B and I already have a bumble bee charm so I've decided this will become my B/Bee bracelet with letter Bs and bumblebees. I think this is an inspired idea :) I got the bf Entourage DVDs and a cool new brown polo. It even had a little pink on it, which was a victory for me, as my surfer/prep bf is rarely down for the pink--go figure.

Great day at work today, as all the Lilly Pulitzer stationery came in. I was on tear unpacking that stuff I tell you. I have decided to wait until I work on Wednesday to make any purchases, today I too excited to make any good purchasing decisions.

I'm off to complete some freelance copy-writing for ABD so that I can receive my photoshop lessons from her. I know you are all wonderful writers but if any of you needs any freelance writing for your many endeavors, don't hesitate to send me an email, I'd love to help :)

Hello readers--momentous things are afoot. This is my 99th post and I know have 50 followers! Thanks to all of you read and follow, when I started blogging I never imagined "meeting" so many of you fabulous bloggers :)

For the 100th post, I am doing a decal tray giveaway so stay tuned for details on that!

Waking up to 50 followers was a welcome delight after yesterday's series of debacles that included a wasted 3 hours at work fighting with said decal machine (don't worry, we are getting it up and running so we shouldn't have any trouble with the giveaway). Consequently, I did not get to work on any of the orders that seem to keep piling up. Then, I leave work to take Stella to the vet and get a speeding ticket on the way there--I maintain I was not speeding but Stella's vet is in another town, where I am not as aware of the speed limits, so I chalk it up to being an out of towner.

I ordered Photoshop Elements yesterday! I'm excited to get my feet wet and hopefully I can acquire enough skills to spruce up the blog ;)

Hello friends...I've missed you. I took what seemed like a very long blog hiatus this weekend. I came home from the bf's house Friday to find my sissy in my bed--surprise (that sounds creepy but it wasn't-lol)! Coco's here. She came to surprise Dad for his birthday which is actually tomorrow.

Saturday was niceServe. It's our church's quarterly service day, where volunteers help out all around our city at a variety of venues. It's one of my favorite things about my church family. Everyone believes fervently in living out what we spend so many Sunday's just talking about and from picking fruit for food pantries to tutoring kids, every act of love and generosity is significant. Me, Have your Cake and Eat it Too, and A Cure for Writer's Block all went to Orlando Day Nursery, which provides daycare to low income families, to help organize their storage facility and donations. It was fun and as we are so organizationally inclined, it was right up our alley. I'm pretty sure our group leader, would agree we were the best organizers ; ) Check out our work.

So. How did everyone like the superbowl? I was rooting for the Cardinals but it was a really good game. Luckily the game was competitive because I found most of the commercials to be a snooze fest. What did y'all think? Am I being overly critical? My favs were the pepsi commercial with Bob Dylan and Will I Am and the bridgestone tire commercial with Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. They doritos commercial with the crystal ball was funny if not cliche for the superbowl, but the really great part about that was, if I've got my facts straight, that 2 guys produced that commercial for 2000.00 and doritos picked it to air at the superbowl--I think some creative departments might be taking notice.

The really sad part about the day after the Superbowl is knowing there is no more football until August--sigh.
